Otago Multi-sport Events

SEAN

We are two guys who after a few years rotting our livers
decided that there was a lot more of Otago to explore. Pretty quickly we
realised that from the

Our first attempt was
the Dunedin MTB Duathlon series which taught us a lot especially as it followed
the recent court case surrounding Le Race. However we had plenty of
encouragement from Dave and Paul at Cycle Surgery (who have a new store in
Cromwell – drop by if you are ever through there) along with Brian and Ian at
the Frontrunner. We even sat down and talked turkey with Robin Judkins who
easily inspires you to give it your all. The events ran really well and all the
feedback was positive and constructive.

Dunedin MTB Duathlon Seriesà RESULTS

Thanks to everyone who
competed in these events, it was our first go at event management and we were really
happy with your response and support. This has kept us motivated to bring you
some more events in the near future.
The overall male winner was
Mike Anderson and the overall female winner was Fiona Lyndsay, both received
Vasque shoes from the Frontrunner. Neil Burrow walked (biked) away from the
final event with the series spot prize a Scott MTB from the good bastards at
the Cycle Surgery.
Please remember to support
our sponsors for these events because without them we couldn’t have planned and
staged those races.
